•The currency is the UAE Dirham (Dh.), also known as the Arab Emirate Dirham (AED). The value of the dirham has been fixed to the US dollar since 1980 at the rate of 1 USD to Dh.3.67. Currency can be exchanged at the airport, at most hotels, in banks and bureau de change.

•All major credit cards are accepted in most hotels, stores, and restaurants in Dubai.
